I'm a freelance writer with eclectic interests and a wide range of experience, including nature writing, journalism, fiction, poetry, and electronics technology. As an article writer I currently specialize in topics on the Southwest -- especially Four Corners travel, culture, archaeology, and history. My work is augmented with digital photography. I've authored two books -- a novel and a book on running a computer-based business from home -- and my short fiction has won several awards, including two creative writing fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts. I'm also a desktop publisher and website host, manager, and designer dedicated to creating books and web pages that don't look like they have been produced with cookie cutters by someone in the government printing office. I'm in the process of redesigning this site so a couple of the links on the navigation bar are not connected to the referenced pages yet; if the links don't turn pink when you move your cursor over them, they are inactive. Also, some of the pages that active links lead to are not yet complete. Anyone wanting further information can e-mail me.
